Terms of use
These terms cover your use of ViewDB Studio at viewdb.app: the editor, the diagram, exports, share links, the AI assistant and the MCP server for agents.
01Who we are
ViewDB Studio ("ViewDB", "we") is run by DANIEL SANTOS GONCALVES TECNOLOGIA DA INFORMACAO LTDA, CNPJ 56.431.597/0001-83, based in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.

02Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using ViewDB you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use ViewDB for a company, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.
03Your account
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself.
You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what agents and keys you connect do with it. If you think someone else is using your account, write to contato@viewdb.app right away.
04Free trial and plans
The free trial gives you Pro for 3 days on 1 project, with 20 assistant messages. It needs no card and does not turn into a paid plan by itself.
Starter and Pro are paid monthly or yearly, in advance, through Stripe. Prices are listed on the pricing page and include taxes. A plan renews at the end of each period until you cancel it.
If a price changes, we email you before the new price applies to your next renewal.
05Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time in Account, Plan and billing, through the Stripe customer portal. You keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again.
Within 7 days of the first payment of a plan you can ask for a full refund, as article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code allows. Write to contato@viewdb.app from the email of your account.
After those 7 days, the period you already paid for is not refunded, including on yearly plans, unless the law requires it.
06When the trial or a plan ends
Your account becomes read-only. You can still open your projects, download them as DBML or .viewdb files and delete them, and your share links keep working. Choose a plan to edit again.
07Your content
Your schemas, DBML, notes and diagrams belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and show them only to run ViewDB for you: saving them, drawing the diagram, exporting code, showing them to the people you share them with, and sending them to the AI provider when you use the assistant.
We do not sell your content and do not use it to train AI models.
Use ViewDB for the structure of your databases. Do not paste real records with other people's personal data into a schema unless you have a legal basis to do so.
08The AI assistant
The assistant's answers and proposals come from AI models run by third parties: Google Gemini, or the provider of the key you added. They can be wrong. Nothing in your project changes until you press Apply, so review each proposal, and review exported code before you use it in production.
Plans include a monthly number of messages on our Gemini key. With your own key there is no monthly cap, and that provider's terms and charges apply to you.
09Agents over MCP
When you connect an agent with OAuth or with a personal key, it acts on your behalf with the access you gave it: read only, or read and write. You are responsible for what it does. You can revoke any connection or key in Account, Agents.
ViewDB saves a version of a project before an agent edits it, so you can restore the earlier state.
11What you may not do
Do not use ViewDB to:
- break the law or other people's rights;
- upload malware or content meant to attack other systems;
- access other people's accounts or data, or test, bypass or break our security, limits or plans;
- overload the service, or access it automatically outside the MCP server and its rate limits;
- resell ViewDB without our written agreement.
12Availability
We work to keep ViewDB online and your data safe, but we do not promise any uptime. ViewDB can be unavailable for maintenance or because of failures, including at our providers. Keep your own copies of important schemas: export them as DBML or .viewdb files.
We may change or remove features. If a change takes away something a paid plan includes, we tell you by email in advance.
13Liability
ViewDB is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the event.
Nothing in these terms removes rights that the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code gives you and that cannot be waived.
14Ending the account
You can delete your account in Account at any time. That deletes your projects and cancels your subscription in Stripe.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. When we can, we warn you first and give you time to export your projects.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. We email you about important changes before they take effect. Using ViewDB after that means you accept the new terms.
16Law and courts
These terms follow Brazilian law. Disputes go to the courts of Curitiba, Paraná, except where consumer law lets you file in the courts where you live.
